Introduction

There are several goals with this training, but the overall goal is to raise up more male leaders at SGC. Whether that leadership is only for your home, a ministry team, or as part of the eldership, the church is always in need of more and better leaders.

Leadership in the church has many facets—strategic thinking, speaking ability, biblical and theological knowledge, and skill with people, just to name a few. Eldership also requires ordination, which means compliance with the SG ordination standards. This curriculum is built around both general leadership skills and the SG ordination requirements.
