Position Rationale and Summary

The Building Coordinator’s role is to keep the facility in overall good condition, and includes a combination of hands-on work as well as working with volunteers and vendors. The person needs to be an independent worker and project manager. The goals of this position are to keep the building in the best possible condition within the allotted budget and to keep all building maintenance issues off of the office staff. There is a significant amount of flexibility regarding how the duties get accomplished. The Building Coordinator must take responsibility for the entire facility, taking “ownership” of the building.
