A bit as an extension of Phil's sermon last week on love, unity, and godly dissent, we added a small button on the right side of our Members Page on the website. The button is labeled "Feedback for the Elders?" and takes you to a page with the statement below. Our hope is not to become corporate and adopt marketing practices, but to underscore our desire to talk with anyone personally who has thoughts and concerns about SGC. We are a family, not a business, but as our church family grows, some things need to be said explicitly. This is our attempt to do that.
The elders of Sovereign Grace Church value your input. We are aware that we cannot lead effectively without the support and perspective of our church members. As Proverbs tells us, “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety” (Prov. 11:14). Thus, if you have a suggestion, an idea, a question, or input of a general nature, we want to hear it.
Please consider sending Phil, Jim, Walt, or Daniel an email to get together over coffee or in the office. You can also give us a call at 919-362-4420 if you don’t have time for a personal meeting right now. However you prefer to speak with us, please know that we care what you think and we want to do all we can to give it serious consideration.
