Bible Readings for Advent

• Daniel Baker

Posted in Advent, Bible, Devotions, Discipleship, Every-Member Ministry

As we said in our post yesterday, for the Advent season this year we are doing something special. First, we are providing a set of Bible readings to go along with each day of Advent (December 1st-25th). Second, someone from the church will be providing a reflection on each day's reading. Our intention is to have these posted first thing each morning, maybe even the night before if things go extremely well. Check the blog for the latest post. Here are the readings and authors for each day of Advent:

Dec 1: Genesis 3:1-25 (Daniel Baker)
*Why did Jesus have to come?

Dec 2: Revelation 21:1-8; 22:1-5 (Rachel Pannell)
*The final result of Jesus coming

Dec 3: Acts 2:22-36 (Scott Moonen)

Dec 4: John 1:1-13 (John McLeod)
