Finding "the living Christ" in the New Testament presents no difficulty. Close your eyes and open it up and point, and you'll find Christ. But finding Jesus in the Old Testament holds a greater challenge.

Reformation 21 has posted a well-written review on Rob Bell's new book, What We Talk about When We Talk about God. I have not read the book myself, but it sounds as if Bell is continuing his journey into quasi-orthodoxy. When it comes to being radical as a Christian, this must always be about how we obey what we believe, not how we change what we believe.

Last Sunday Walt preached on the sanctity of life. Like many churches, we often choose a Sunday around January 22, the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, to reflect on what it means to be pro-life in a culture that often is not. As Walt closed his sermon, he challenged us with some practical ways to engage this fight.
